Garlic Butter Bacon Cheeseburger Rollups
These Garlic Butter Bacon Cheeseburger Rollups are a delicious twist on a classic cheeseburger. Juicy seasoned ground beef, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar cheese are rolled inside soft crescent dough and brushed with rich garlic butter. Perfect as an appetizer, snack, party food, or quick dinner idea.
Ingredients
For the Filling:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
For the Rollups:
- 1 tube crescent roll dough
- 3 tablespoons garlic butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
1 Cook the Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes. Break it apart with a spoon as it cooks.
Drain excess grease if needed.
Season the beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir well and remove from heat.
2 Add Bacon & Cheese
Add the crumbled bacon to the cooked beef and mix until evenly combined.
Let the mixture cool slightly, then stir in the shredded cheddar cheese. This helps the cheese melt without becoming greasy.
3 Prepare the Dough
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles (or rectangles if using sheet dough).
4 Assemble the Rollups
Spoon a generous amount of the beef and bacon mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle.
Roll the dough tightly from the wide end toward the tip, enclosing the filling.
Place rollups seam-side down on the baking sheet.
5 Garlic Butter Magic
Brush each rollup generously with melted garlic butter.
Sprinkle with dried parsley if desired for extra flavor and color.
6 Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the rollups are golden brown and cooked through.
Let them cool for 3–5 minutes before serving.
