Ham and Cheese Sticks (Easy, Cheesy, and Perfect for Any Time)

Ham and Cheese Sticks are a quick and delicious snack made with crescent roll dough, savory ham, and gooey melted cheese. They’re perfect for breakfast, lunchboxes, parties, or as an easy appetizer. Crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside, these sticks are always a crowd-pleaser.

 Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 slices deli ham
  • 8 cheese sticks (mozzarella or cheddar work best)

Optional Ingredients (for extra flavor):

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning or dried oregano
  • Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Sesame seeds or poppy seeds

 Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles along the perforated lines.
  3. Place one slice of ham on each triangle of dough. Fold or trim the ham if needed so it fits neatly.
  4. Lay one cheese stick on the wide end of each triangle, on top of the ham.
  5. Starting from the wide end, carefully roll the dough toward the pointed tip, wrapping the ham and cheese inside. Gently press the edges to seal.
  6. Arrange the rolled sticks on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
  7. (Optional) In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush this mixture over the tops of the sticks. Sprinkle with parmesan or seeds if desired.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and fully cooked.
  9. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving.

 Tips & Variations

  • For extra crispiness, bake for an additional 1–2 minutes, watching carefully.
  • You can substitute ham with turkey, chicken, or even salami.
  • Try different cheeses like pepper jack, Swiss, or Colby-Jack for new flavors.
  • Serve with dipping sauces such as ketchup, mustard, honey mustard, or ranch dressing.
  • These can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator until ready to bake.

 Serving Suggestions
