How To Make 3-Ingredient Baked Breakfast

Step 1: Preheat & Prepare

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray, or line it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

Step 2: Separate the Eggs

Carefully separate the egg whites from the yolks.
Place the egg whites in a clean, dry mixing bowl and the egg yolks in a separate large bowl.

Tip: Make sure no yolk gets into the whites, or they won’t whip properly.

Step 3: Mix the Batter Base

To the bowl with the egg yolks, add the milk and flour.
Whisk until smooth and lump-free. The mixture should be creamy and slightly thick, similar to pancake batter.

Step 4: Whip the Egg Whites

Using a hand mixer or whisk, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form.
This step is key—it adds air to the batter and makes the breakfast light and fluffy.

Step 5: Fold Everything Together

Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the yolk mixture in batches.
Use a spatula and slow, circular motions to avoid deflating the egg whites.

Step 6: Bake

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

Step 7: Cool & Serve

The dish will deflate a little as it cools—this is normal.
