 Time & Yield

  • Prep Time: 15 minutes
  • Cook Time: 20 minutes
  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Servings: 8–10 sliders

 Ingredients

 For the Sliders:

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 200g (about 7 oz) sliced ham
  • 200g (about 7 oz) Swiss cheese slices
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (or regular mustard)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

 For the Buttery Glaze:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or fresh, chopped)
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of black pepper

 Instructions

1 Preheat the Oven

Start by preheating your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.

2 Prepare the Biscuit Dough

Open the can of biscuit dough and separate each biscuit.
Using your hands or a knife, gently split each biscuit in half horizontally so you end up with a top and bottom layer—just like a sandwich bun.

Place the bottom halves on your prepared baking tray.

3 Add the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and mustard until smooth.

Spread a thin layer of this mixture over each bottom biscuit piece. This adds a creamy, tangy flavor that balances perfectly with the ham and cheese.

4 Layer the Fillings

Now it’s time to assemble:

  • Add a slice (or folded piece) of ham on each biscuit
  • Place a slice of Swiss cheese on top of the ham

Make sure the cheese slightly overlaps the edges—it melts beautifully and gives that irresistible gooey texture.

5 Add the Top Layer

Place the top halves of the biscuits over each slider to close them.

Gently press down so everything stays in place, but don’t flatten them too much—you want them fluffy after baking.

6 Prepare the Buttery Glaze

In a bowl, combine:

  • Melted butter
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Mustard
  • Parsley
  • Salt and pepper

Mix well until everything is fully combined.

7 Brush and Bake

Using a brush or spoon, generously coat the tops of the sliders with the buttery glaze.

Place the tray in the oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until:

  • The tops are golden brown
  • The cheese is fully melted
  • The biscuits are cooked through

 Serving Suggestions

Let the sliders cool for a few minutes before serving.

They taste best warm and fresh out of the oven. You can serve them with:

  • Crispy French fries
  • A fresh green salad
  • Pickles or coleslaw for extra crunch

 Tips & Variations

  • Make it sweeter: Add a teaspoon of honey to the glaze
  • Swap the meat: Use turkey or chicken instead of ham
  • Cheese options: Try cheddar, mozzarella, or provolone
  • Spicy twist: Add a little hot sauce or chili flakes
  • Make ahead: Assemble everything and refrigerate, then bake when ready

 Storage

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days
  • Reheat in the oven at 160°C (320°F) for best texture (avoid microwave if possible)
