Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream (very cold)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package (3 oz / 85 g) Jello gelatin powder (strawberry, raspberry, cherry, lemon, or any flavor you like)
  • ½ cup hot water
  • ½ cup cold water

Optional Ingredients (for extra flavor or texture):

  • Fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, peaches, etc.)
  • Crushed biscuits, cookies, or graham crackers
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Chocolate chips or chocolate shavings

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Jello

  1. In a medium bowl, add the Jello gelatin powder.
  2. Pour in ½ cup hot water and stir well until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
  3. Add ½ cup cold water and mix again.
  4. Set the Jello aside at room temperature until it cools and becomes slightly thick.
    • Important: Do not let it fully set.

Step 2: Whip the Cream

  1. In a large mixing bowl, pour the cold heavy whipping cream.
  2. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat on medium speed for about 1–2 minutes.
  3. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  4. Continue beating until soft to medium peaks form.
    • The cream should be fluffy and smooth, not stiff.

Step 3: Combine the Mixture

  1. Slowly pour the cooled (not set) Jello into the whipped cream.
  2. Gently fold using a spatula until fully combined.
  3. Mix carefully to keep the texture light and airy.
  4. If using fruit, marshmallows, or biscuits, fold them in gently at this stage.

Step 4: Chill and Set

  1. Pour the mixture into individual dessert cups, a glass bowl, or a serving dish.
  2. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours, or until fully set.
