Topping:

  • 1 egg, beaten (egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

 Instructions (Step by Step)

Step 1: Prep Ingredients

  1. Cook and crumble the bacon; set aside.
  2. Cook or shred chicken if not already prepared.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Prepare the Dough

  1. Lightly flour your work surface.
  2. Roll pizza dough into a large rectangle (about 10×14 inches).
  3. Transfer dough carefully onto the prepared baking sheet.

Step 3: Make the Filling

  1. In a bowl, combine:
    • Chicken
    • Bacon
    • Ranch dressing
    • Garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, and pepper
  2. Mix until everything is evenly coated.

Step 4: Assemble the Stromboli

  1. Spread the chicken-bacon-ranch mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border on all sides.
  2. Sprinkle mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese evenly on top.
  3. Starting from the long side, tightly roll the dough into a log.
  4. Pinch seams and tuck ends underneath to seal.

Step 5: Finish the Top

  1. Brush the stromboli with beaten egg.
  2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Parmesan.
  3. Brush mixture over the top.
  4. Cut 3–4 small slits on top to allow steam to escape.

Step 6: Bake

  1. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown.
  2. If browning too fast, tent loosely with foil.
  3. Stromboli should sound hollow when tapped.

Step 7: Rest & Slice

  • Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing.
  • Slice and serve warm.

 Tips for Best Stromboli

  • Don’t overfill — it can burst
  • Let dough come to room temperature before rolling
  • Use thick ranch dressing for best flavor
  • Rest before slicing so cheese doesn’t spill out
